The Course Weblog
About Weblogs.
A weblog is a popular and easy way for individuals to place up-to-date information on a web site. Some people use them like a diary -- telling the whole world (or a select group of subscribers) of his day-to-day activities. Others choose an issue near and dear to their hearts and use a "blog" as a platform to essay and link to related news.
The weblog associated with this site will primarily be an online bookmarks folder for chemistry and physics. I browse the Web constantly and monitor news from a variety of sources. I will act as a filter and post links and summaries for the best and most interesting science news I can find. To the extent that extra credit will be available in your courses it will in most events be linked to one or more of these articles.
Using Our Weblog.
- Link to the weblog.
- Subscribe by clicking on the "register" link and filling in the form.
- Read the most recent entries and survey the categories relevant to you.
- Please consider leaving a comment -- starting a debate -- disagreeing or agreeing with the author (even if it's Mr. K.).
- To see comments or to add your own, just click on the "comments" link under each entry. Fill in the form and submit.
- Rules: no profanity, no flaming. Keep it relevant. You will be banned.
