Tutorials – there are seven.
In the Vernier Software folder (probably Programs under Windows and Applications under Mac) is a folder for Graphical Analysis and inside that seven tutorials.
The first covers: using tool tips, data entry, editing data, naming columns, using the Examine feature, creating new columns, inserting a graph, adding new pages.
The second covers customization – adjusting fonts, font color, backgrounds etc – word processing stuff.
The third covers the tools that enhance the viewing of graphs.
The fourth covers the tools used to analyze data.
The fifth covers line fitting and curve fitting – more advanced analysis.
The sixth and seventh cover “linearization of data” the process of using calculated columns to produce linear data where none appeared before – this is an especially useful technique where relationships are hard to visualize. I use it for the mass vs. period relation of an inertial balance and for the length vs. period relation of a pendulum system.
